Star Trek: Starbase 777

To the disappointment of the team - or maybe they would be overjoyed upon seeing this, really, it depended on who you asked - the armory seemed to be completely empty. Cleared out. Some rogue bits and pieces were still around and about, haphazardly thrown around the floor, as if something - someone? - was working really hard, and really fast, to clear the room out. The black-green of Borg was present here, too.

Aoife pulled out her tricorder and began to scan the borg stuff in the armoury to try and figure out what it's purpose was. She also tapped on her commbadge to inform the other away teams of the situation down there.

The "Borg stuff" seemed to be mostly the corruption. Still fucking nasty.

Aurisk followed the others into the armory. They noticed there weren’t any weapons left. It definitely added to the mystery of what was going on… They walked over to where the weapons once were to check it out. They examined the bits and pieces left over to see if anything seemed off.

Just your average disruptor parts, nothing too notable. On the other hand, on the floor, where the Borg biotech had not settled in, Aurisk could see a layer of dust, and in it - rather large footprints of someone's combat boots.

Aoife went to give the footprint a closer look. She gave it a scan to see if the tricorder would give them an idea what species left such a big bootprint.

Her scan matched to the combat boots the Romulans in the army usually wore. As for the size - it indicated that the assumed Vulcanoid was rather tall and heavy.

"Well that's just wonderful." Aoife mouthed to herself, not thrilled with the thought of a brute of a romulan running around with a arsenal of weapons.

Probably not the whole arsenal - which poised a question of where the armoury stock has gone - but hey, still a very valid concern!

Aoife gave the armoury one more once over to see if she could find anything else interesting before heading back into the hallway.
